One exciting study took 83 people and split them up into 3 groups. One group for EFT, one for talk therapy/counseling, and one for resting for just one hour. Blood levels taken before and after the testing noted a 24% cortisol decrease with 1 hour of EFT and only 14% in the talk therapy and rest categories. The EFT group also exhibited lower levels of psychological symptoms including anxiety and depression.

Cortisol is the stress hormone and having a tool like EFT in your back pocket gives you more control over your own life! I have been working with clients since 2003 using EFT as part of a well rounded healing program. My focus is teaching clients how to apply EFT so that they can use it on a daily basis to begin to free themselves from the habits and moods that can plague them. It is such a simple technique that after 3 to 4 sessions most clients are able to maintain their EFT program on their own and only seek me out for stubborn issues and touch ups.
